Katrina Kaif To Spend New Year In Salman Khan’s Company

Looks like our Bollywood celebrities cannot get over their exes fast. Just like Ranbir Kapoor tried hard and failed to woo back Deepika Padukone after cheating on her with a supposed Katrina Kaif, the pretty lady is now trying her best to win back the attention of her ex Salman Khan. Though Katrina Kaif would not like the media to spot her anywhere close to Salman Khan,

she just cannot keep herself away from him! After making it a point to personally visit him to convey her wishes for his birthday, news is that Katrina will be spending her New Year day off in Dubai with Sallu and his family.

Ask the actress about this, and pat comes the reply that she will be in Mumbai to shoot for her upcoming film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. So Katrina Kaif has no plans to move out during the holiday season! So is the news of the actress flying to Dubai with Salman Khan after he wraps up work on his television project tomorrow only a rumor? Guess we will have to wait for the next year for a confirmation!

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif’s rumored boyfriend, for whom she ditched Salman Khan, has found better company in his Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri. The film is going to be based on the multi-million religion based industry and will have a central character that will represent a real life woman who had changed the course of her life to become a religious leader.

Katrina Kaif who has the intensity and the looks to carry off the part to a perfect ‘T’ was already in the director’s mind ever since they started shooting for the political potboiler Raajneeti. However, this role is going to be more intense and will see Katrina in the saffron robe looking quite unglamorous woman, much more different than what she has been both on and off screen till date.

Reports are that the star was very confident of pulling the role well after having a detailed discussion with the director about it. Thus, the coming year will see a much different and matured Katrina than ever before! Not to forget sans make-up too!

Tees Maar Khan box office review

Tees Maar Khan movie box office show and collections are good despite the negative reviews. Critics panned Tees Maar Khan severely, but still it is doing excellent business at the box office. Collections are pretty good on first and second days. First day collection chart reported that Tees Maar Khan collected around 13.5 crore rupees only from India.

Trade experts thought that Tees Maar Khan gets affected by bad reviews and there would be dip in collections on the second day. But the initial euphoria is too big that people didn’t care much about the critics take and thronged to the theaters. Second day being a public holiday helped the cause.

Katrina Kaif: Can Rajneeti Bring Her The First Filmfare Award?

Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif has passed six successful years in the industry and is now considered to be one of the leading ladies. She has been even voted as the ‘Sexiest Asian Actress’ recently. She has acted with A-lister Bollywood heroes like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and now she is working with Imran Khan.

However, all these success and accolades could not satisfy this British Indian actress. Katrina is now aiming to win a ‘Filmfare Award’ as she has never won a ‘Best Actress’ award. The 26 year old actress has worked hard in these years but could not manage to get the ‘Black Lady’. This year, Kat has been nominated for the ‘Best Actress’ category for her performance in Prakash Jha’s film Rajneeti.

Katrina says that she is dying to win one ‘Filmfare Award’ but that is not in her hand. She has left it to public to decide and give return of her hard work. Even if we decline to acknowledge her performance in many other movies, her performance in Rajneeti cannot be ignored. She has done a wonderful job in this political thriller by coming out of her typical sexy and pretty look. She has been shown playing a widow of a political leader and then entering into politics herself.

We agree with you Kat, you really deserve a ‘Filmfare Award’ now because of this extra-ordinary performance. However, it depends on the competition you will face from other leading ladies, who must have performed very good in their respective films.

Katrina topped the most searched Indian celebrity list

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has topped the most searched Indian celebrity list, according to Google India, followed by Aishwarya Rai in the second place. Tennis star Sania Mirza and actress Priyanka Chopra rank occupy the third and fourth slots in the list.

Sachin Tendulkar is at # 5, followed by Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan. Shah Rukh Khan is at the bottom of the list.

The Hong Kong born British-Indian actress is known for her successful Bollywood films like Sarkar, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Namastey London, Apne, Partner and Welcome, though she had acted in several other films.

Barbie Doll Katrina Kaif celebrated her birthday in Italy

The Bollywood Barbie Doll Katrina Kaif must have thoroughly enjoyed her 25th birthday with her entire family in an undisclosed destination in Italy. Katrina perhaps wanted not to repeat the kind of birthday bash she had in 2008 in which her boyfriend Salman Khan got into a brawl with Shah Rukh Khan and spoiled the spirit of the celebration.

This year Katrina did not want to take another chance as she is away from Bollywood leaving Salman Khan to slog out in Mumbai for his film Wanted Dead and Alive.

According to reports Katrina was supposed to spend a long holiday with her family in London last year around Christmas, but had to cut short her trip due to pressures of work. She did not have a break in almost two years and hence she was looking forward to spending quality time with her family.

Katrina Kaif spent her childhood in many countries, including her growing up years in the United States and later in her mother’s home country UK, and the support of her family all along was a great blessing for her, she said. Her six sisters, about a year apart, similar in height and build, are strong, fearless, self-confident individuals and she is quite appreciative of them. About her elder brother who is a professional rock climber, she says, he is like their big caretaker.

The British-Indian actress Katrina was born in Hong Kong to a Kashmiri father, Mohammed Kaif, and a British mother, Suzzane. Her parents separated when Kaif was very young.

Katrina Kaif started her modeling career at the age of fourteen for a jewelry campaign in London. Eventually she was spotted by filmmaker Kaizad Gustad who introduced her in his film Boom (2003). Boom was not a big success, it kick-started her career as an Indian actress, who has acted in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam films. Katrina's first release for 2009, New York, with John Abraham was a commercial success.

Kaif is the model for Mattel's Bollywood Barbie, which was all over the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai this year and Barbie doll celebrated its 50th Anniversary by sponsoring the event.

Mattel's first choice for Barbie was Aishwarya Rai, who reportedly said that she was the one who declined the toymaker Mattel's deal due to her busy schedule. The Bollywood Barbie modeled on Katrina Kaif is expected to go into production in September.
